Modular abstraction is a series made with acrylic paint on 50×50 cm canvases. The pieces have been made through different pictorial processes such as grattage, frottage, washes and reserves.

Although they are independent paintings, they can form different combinations interacting with each other as modules. With a wide range of compositional possibilities as can be seen in the photographs.
